Duality of a Political leader
This post may seem like a Political jab when in fact it’s not. Yes duality may make you think it is but it is not. My posts are almost always about thinking.
When do Political leaders which are “too little to succeed", become "too big to fail"? When they associate themselves with the “to big to fail”. So I guess Political leaders are officially "too big to fail".
We can’t have a bankrupt or poor leader making decisions. After all we voted them in due to their intelligence and leadership abilities. How would we view ourselves if we knew we voted for some bankrupt poor looser?
Stock ownership US Congress influenced voting on bailout.
Personal investments in the stock of financial institutions by members of the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Unites States was positively associated with these institutions receiving bailout after the subprime mortgage crisis of 2007.
What is the duality of a Political Leader? A citizen?
But wouldn’t you do the same? It’s not like we don’t know this is happening. And don’t say you would not do this. Plus a Politician is a citizen as well, or is he an employee of a corporation called America. Are we employees too?
So if the duality is not a citizen since we all would have done the same, is it a voter? No politicians are voters. I am struggling on the perfect duality here. I guess some might think the duality is a communist or a socialist but that doesn’t seem right either.
I got it; a dishonest crook is the duality. Hmm, crook is little harsh, Political leaders are not honest crooks.
Sincerely, these guys aren't crooks they’re just smart. They just don’t tell us everything because they think we might not understand.

Duality of Immortality
What is the duality of Immortality? Long Term Care Tax?
As long as we no longer have to pay for it when we become immortal?
Or will they change the tax name to the "fund for those who could not create value for the minimum 5 years before retiring?
Or maybe the fund for robotic / computer interface enhancements.
At least you may be able to opt out. So the real duality questions?

Duality of Scary new Democratic Poll?
What is the dualtiy of a poll? How about the ability to make something true or right?
Opinion? To become Fact?
I have discussed before how right and wrong has so many gray areas. If grey is the true middle what color is 51% black and 49% white?
We vote on many things and when one thing gets one more vote it becomes reality, the truth, or the accepted belief. Opinions in polls often sway people to become fact.
I have often wondered why instead of voting for people who are bought and paid for by campaign contributions or placed in office by other means, why we couldn't vote on every issue by internet. I guess we have to vote in people who are smarter than ourselves to make all our decisions. You know who I mean, people who can read a 1000 page bill and deciper all the legal eaze. Or people who can touch the bill and through osmosis understand what is best for the people. By the way what happend to the osmosis abilities of the Republicans? Or was it the democrats that mostly used osmosi and the republican actually read it. I really could suggest which one was true without a poll. Or does one side just really hate the other that much.
Yes it would be just as easy to hack this vote, but it would be much better than what we have today. We might approach some real truths like:
How many people want socialism? How many people know what socialism is? How many people have read the communist mannifesto? How many people have experienced comunism? How many people know what a resource based economy is? How will we move to the next level of consciousness if we dont solve how to handle immortality and 98% unemployment? I am not saying the government is working on this but duality would argue the point of "who says they are not working on this"? We all know that if they told us and laid out their entire x year plan we would intantly freak. After all most dont even want immortality. Well at least not immortality on earth.

Who is paying for this blitz? What are they trying to accomplish with this? Silly me, its propaganda for the upcoming elections. How long will it take for the GOP to come up with their own propaganda, I mean PR blitz. Great now not only do we get campaign commerical we will get commercials on bills that have already passed.

Dualtiy of Measured Control
What is the duality of measured control? Extinction?
If you think people dont fear change as I suggested yesterday than I would ask if you think we are getting smarter and smarter faster. If so how about this quote from the below article regarding inteligence and its rapid change:
"Experts today, in fact, estimate a probability of self-annihilation within the next century to be between 25% and 50%"
If Only We Were Smarter!
Seems to me we may need some control.
And guess what we have here in this next article?
Civil society organisations (CSOs) that have been watching the course of the latest new technologies --- nanotechnology, robotics, neurosciences, space technologies and what not --- have reason to believe that these are on their way to being used this century, not only to control the world economy, but even democracy and dissent.

Duality of Communism
Duality of Immortality? Forced Mortality?
After all think of all the people we would have on the earth. Can you think of others?
Duality of reaching immortality soon? The new healthcare bill?
After all if we get to immortality will we even need a healthcare bill?
Duality of mortality? 90% reduction in pharmaceutical companies and doctors?
This would sure hurt the economy.
Duality of Freedom? Control?
After all it might be best to Control who gets to be immortal at first. Especially as the Russian leader suggested how important it would be for him to be immortal (see March 4th post called "Immortality of the leader"). Do we really want the handicapped immortal? Not a question for me but for maybe someone like Mother Theresa or Hitler? But it is a great question that few would admit the ability to answer.
Duality of taxes? No need for taxes?
After all its better to get the taxes now while they are needed instead of when they are not needed.
Duality of Utopia? ...............?
Can you envision a Heaven where everything is provided for you by God?
Can you envision a world leader where everything is provided for you by the state?

Duality of Owning your own home
What is the duality of owning your own home? How about government housing?
What is the opposite of two big to fail? Too little to succeed?
Some people seem to think that by walking away from their mortgage even if they can pay is sending a message to the banks. Angry and frustrated they feel they can walk away from their morals because the banks walked away from theirs years ago. The scenario question?: “Too little” wins by walking away and “Too big” loses.
But what might the duality of this scenario be. Why would the bank care if you walk away? I see 2 duality possibilities:
1. Banks become property owners and wait out the depression as landlords renting the homes back to the masses.

What is the opposite of two big to fail? Too little to succeed?
Some people seem to think that by walking away from their mortgage even if they can pay is sending a message to the banks. Angry and frustrated they feel they can walk away from their morals because the banks walked away from theirs years ago. The scenario question?: “Too little” wins by walking away and “Too big” loses.
But what might the duality of this scenario be. Why would the bank care if you walk away? I see 2 duality possibilities:
1. Banks become property owners and wait out the depression as landlords renting the homes back to the masses.

Duality of Duality
I tend to try to focus on duality but as I have mentioned duality must have duality right?
.I guess one of the best ways to understand that is to imagine no duality. When duality is missing everything is the same or is just one thing. As per a previous post I suggested the opposite of duality is “knowing”. It also suggests that one thing is exactly the same as the other thing.
This next video hints at one last opponent to immortality. It’s interesting in the early part of the speech where, Mark Roth suggests a possible similarity of suspended animation and immortality. One is like death and one is never death yet he says:
“As you tend to see suspended animation, you tend to see immortality”, so is he not saying that one is same as the other but yet seem to be somewhat opposite?
I pulled this definition from the web for suspended animation:

Could you not extrapolate the meaning of this and say:
The lack of life qualities or being in suspended animation is similar to immortality. It would imply that whether we are conscious or not we are immortal. If we can grasp this, can we not grasp the technology to be immortal whether alive or dead since death and life are truly measured by time
So for those who want immortality but demand quality to their immortality I offer a scenario: You happen to fall off that cliff while climbing why not just put yourself into immediate suspended animation and after revival try it again. Duality of the Past
30 years ago I wrote “The only wish that comes true in life is the one that wishes your life away”
We all know the duality of the past right. Obviously it is the future.
So somewhere in between there we get to the “Now”. Many things in duality have shades of grey as you approach the middle. Is it really possible to be exactly in the middle? Take right and wrong. There is always a middle but defining the middle for any issue is near impossible and has a lot of gray area.
So in a case where a true middle exists, shouldn't you be able to determine the duality of that thing. So what is the duality of “Now”?
Antonym searches on the web bring up words such as then or later. Isn’t that the same as the future? So is the duality of the future “Now”, and not the past? What would the duality of the past be?
Antonym searches say it is the future. So is “Now” synonymous with the past? Or could the “Now” be so misunderstood that we have no true antonym? Is the “Now” so small that it compares in size to the atom. If the atom is conscious then is “Now” conscious? Does the “Now” die every nanosecond and become immortal in its past? Or does the now never die?
I think the only true duality of “Now”, is “Not Now”. It also seems to me that 99.9999% percent of us live in the “Not Now”. We seem only to think about the future or the past. Would time stop if we lived in the “Now”?
Back to what I wrote 30 years ago:

Have you ever wished it was Friday and it not come true? Yes it took a while for it to come true possibly, but did it really. How much do you remember of the time it took for that Friday or specific day to appear? How much of that time do you remember? Here I am at 45 years and if I had to write a biography I could probably come up with a couple years of time. So although I know it took 45 years to get to this Friday it seems only like a year. Did I live in the “Now” for those things I remember in my past? Was I so seldom in the now that my life feels like a blink of an eye? So maybe I should live in the “Now” more often and maybe savor it.
“Now” I wish I had saved all my Journals instead of just one.
“Now” I wish for the below watch.

Duality of the Social Class
What is the duality of the Social Class? The elimination of the Social Class?
Will there ever be an elimination of social class? Well for now it doesn’t seem likely so I think we have to go with Singularity Class.
Well it’s not really an opposite since those with money will probably be the first to use biotechnology or computer integration. Or maybe the technology will be made available to everyone after all the robots have taken over all our jobs.
If that happens, maybe the duality of the Social class will be the elimination of the Social class. Maybe we should hold off on immortality until everyone is a genius or fully integrated with technology.
Interesting article below: If the Social class remains, we may have a class for the rich and the poor but also a sub class for the enhanced, partially enhanced and unenhanced.

Duality of a one child policy
We have all heard of China's one child policy and although controversial to some you have to agree that it is very logical approach to overpopulation.
But duality can always play tricks on you. I have never seen such a comprehensive piece that discusses the duality of a one child policy.
Maybe the problem with a policy is that an intent of a policy, cannot always be fulfilled with some duality showing up. Or maybe the policies themselves are not good or bad but are duality in nature ins is ability to me avoided or manipulated.
The article is long (worth the read however) so let me at pull out a few of the duality focused areas and quote them here.
"In January 2010 the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) showed what can happen to a country when girl babies don’t count. Within ten years, the academy said, one in five young men would be unable to find a bride because of the death of young women".
"The surplus of bachelors—called in China guanggun, or “bare branches”— seems to have accelerated between 1990 and 2005, in ways not obviously linked to the one-child policy, which was introduced in 1979. And, as is becoming clear, the war against baby girls is not confined to China."

Duality of the lie as a young kid
I wrote a poem 30 some years ago and it is somewhat hard to follow as I was a young teen. But the general theme is traveler and a reincarnation personified as a confused traveler and a space ship. Please note I had just started being intrigued by philosophy when after asking my grandma if a bhudists would go to heave and she said they would not.
There was much to learn being new to this world; yet so few to learn from, seemed nobody cared. I asked to be taught so they sent me to school; I asked to be cared for so they sent me away.
Then I met my new found young friend; he was troubled and bitter, yet held it all in. Why would anyone, I wonder, hold so much in; I felt unsure and un-trusted, hardly a friend.
I asked many questions, of my new found friend; he was scared and confused, my questions not helping. His answers were vague, hardly at all to the point; for nothing was simple, not even their language.
With a million to choose from, and all so unclear, their words impossible, yet spoken so well. Languages so different in all parts of their world; not even to consider the gap they called generation.
Knowing none of this helped, my new found friend, who was troubled and worried, about one single word. The word was alcohol, but synonymous with spirits and liquor. His dad seemed to be one, and off in a world.
This world was do different, than the one they lived in, it affected a part in the top of their head; A mind altering drug, was but one simple meaning; It was the only one legal, yet abused by all.
It abused the innocent, let alone the individual; but the person had rights, til too late for the rest. A way of escape, just one more mystery unexplained.
But then I remembered the world I’d seen last; A world with the same problem, a need to escape. It wasn’t a drug, yet so much the same, they called it fiction, a myth or to lie.
I mourned for my friend, he needed me now; but I had to go on, so much to learn. He seemed to get help though, from someone who cared, and I stopped in a building, they called it “to pray”
And I knew there was hope for this busy world, for they had this word, I think it was law; that I thought would get rid of this tragedy and injustice, for alcohol was organic, a controllable substance.
It was time to leave now, this confusing world; I’d learned so little, for time was too short; but I felt really special, they called it “love”.
And as I waited, I had time to still learn; their book of meanings, “Webster” they called it. And I found the meaning of fiction and myth; two simple meanings, not harmful at all.
I was amazed to find these two worlds so similar; many words the same, yet so hard to explain. For Both worlds were vague, in their meaning and purpose; but this one seemed better with love on their side.
I boarded the ship, so sorry to go and I wished each time to take a part of it with me. But I wasn't allowed, due to time and no space; I’d seen many worlds, and loved this one the most.
As I sat I heard talking of captain and crew; “Do you think he noticed, the error we made”? “No” said the captain “for he talked once to old and then to young”. My heart truly hurt as I understood one last word; I lied down and reflected the lie.

Duality of a conspiracy
I follow many sites from hard core Christianity, to esoteric sites, to new age, to conspiracy sites, to singularity to mains steam news and others. I think in doing so it provides a great look into the duality of our life. After all according to everyone, everyone is right and only trying to do the good thing, right.
And I won’t usually support or deny conspiracies but when an article like the one below comes along it often brings a good opportunity to laugh and discuss the what if’s around duality. I don't mean laugh at its validity because the article does not require validity to make me laugh. I laughed at how detrimental this could be to the global warming movement.
What if global warming eventually is accepted by all but it never happens due to the Norway time hole and future time holes creating brutal cold temperatures for the planet?
What if global warming is not happening and now the Norway time hole will create a massive global cooling pandemic.
What if the sun gets crazy and offsets the Norway time hole and we go back to global warming.
What if Yellowstone blows and we go into a global cooling.
Why is it called a time hole and not thermosphere ripper? Sounds cooler doesn't it?
These topics always get me off topic and I write them down and then usually delete them before posting but not today. Allow me a rambling here.
What will we worry about next? 2012? Won’t 2012 bring about the thing most people say they want which is immortality in heaven? Why is it people don't want immortality on earth? Do we fear that immortality on earth may be more like immortality in hell? Will heaven be a duality free zone with no good or evil? Or will it only be good? But can heaven be good without duality? How will we know the difference without duality? Will we just roam without thinking like so many of us do already on earth? Will heaven truly provide us with the gift to no longer have to think? Duality is a requisite to thinking. Without duality thinking would seem to be replaced with knowing. But would you know everything or only what you knew prior to entering? Could I choose to leave “knowing” to enter duality and learn more? Duality cannot be comprehended without the existence of duality. Heaven could also be described as non existence and be replace by just being. Because once again, existence can only be defined through duality.

Dualtiy of Individual Consciousness

What is the duality of individual consciousness? How about Group consciousness? Or even better, integrated consciousness. Groups are integrated aren’t they?
Integrated is defined as:
Combining or coordinating separate elements so as to provide a harmonious, interrelated whole: an integrated plot; an integrated course of study.
What comes to mind here for many of us, (at least my best guess is that this is what most over 30 think) is that a group is not a group unless all member of the group come together physically. They will still refer to themselves as a group when not together, but group activities don’t usually take place unless all come together physically. When we started voice conferences 20 years ago or more we still did not see each other as a group but instead as a team or a workforce.
This seems to have changed very quickly.
I saw a TED video where the gentleman showed pictures of secret texting and discussed how it appeared that the relaying of the event has become more important than the event itself. Example: texting about a first kiss was more important than the kiss itself.
While communicating via texting once I found that with today’s youth if your text is too long it can confuse them. If you ask more than one question, the answer is "yes", or its "no" or they tell you where they are or some other relevant information. It’s hard to know which of the several questions they answered when it’s just one answer. Texting is not a letter and it’s not an email it's a phone call without the voice. It can take hours to do so with youth. If they don’t want to answer the question they stall. If you call them it goes to voicemail. They really don’t like talking on the phone. What would they say? I remember it being difficult to deal with silence when talking on the phone at a young age but of course there is no difficulty in silence when together or texting. Texting has become this constant connection to the group. It’s a phone call that lasts hours, day’s week’s months or years. If you stretch maybe you could even call it group consciousness.
Amazingly, while texting, we seem to be able to tell more intimate details. Our communication has no fluctuations in voice, so we can’t tell when the text indicates we are sad or happy unless we use emoticons. The art of communications has changed from an art to a more blunt and direct communication. With the youth, texting etiquette does not seem allow you to ignore the text because the conversation has never ended in their mind even if the last text was hours ago. Texting seems to be an ongoing never ending link to the person sending you the message. Work or being busy is no excuse to take a minute to respond. You can ignore the phone call but not the text, because the text conversation is not a now communication it is current communication.
Our intimate details turn into sexting. The sext message gets forwarded to our other groups and we get porn and even child porn.
Where does it go from here? It gets integrated with the internet. It gets integrated with other groups exponentially. It’s called social networking aka Facebook.
Now I am not saying that face book is bad but you should all be aware of what comes next. No maybe not for you but for your children.
Now you may have children in their late teens which may only shed 30% of their private lives but you pre-teens seem destined to shed 90% or more of their privacy. And how will this look. The below article does a great job of describing it.

I saw a TED video where the gentleman showed pictures of secret texting and discussed how it appeared that the relaying of the event has become more important than the event itself. Example: texting about a first kiss was more important than the kiss itself.
While communicating via texting once I found that with today’s youth if your text is too long it can confuse them. If you ask more than one question, the answer is "yes", or its "no" or they tell you where they are or some other relevant information. It’s hard to know which of the several questions they answered when it’s just one answer. Texting is not a letter and it’s not an email it's a phone call without the voice. It can take hours to do so with youth. If they don’t want to answer the question they stall. If you call them it goes to voicemail. They really don’t like talking on the phone. What would they say? I remember it being difficult to deal with silence when talking on the phone at a young age but of course there is no difficulty in silence when together or texting. Texting has become this constant connection to the group. It’s a phone call that lasts hours, day’s week’s months or years. If you stretch maybe you could even call it group consciousness.
Amazingly, while texting, we seem to be able to tell more intimate details. Our communication has no fluctuations in voice, so we can’t tell when the text indicates we are sad or happy unless we use emoticons. The art of communications has changed from an art to a more blunt and direct communication. With the youth, texting etiquette does not seem allow you to ignore the text because the conversation has never ended in their mind even if the last text was hours ago. Texting seems to be an ongoing never ending link to the person sending you the message. Work or being busy is no excuse to take a minute to respond. You can ignore the phone call but not the text, because the text conversation is not a now communication it is current communication.
Our intimate details turn into sexting. The sext message gets forwarded to our other groups and we get porn and even child porn.
Where does it go from here? It gets integrated with the internet. It gets integrated with other groups exponentially. It’s called social networking aka Facebook.
Now I am not saying that face book is bad but you should all be aware of what comes next. No maybe not for you but for your children.
Now you may have children in their late teens which may only shed 30% of their private lives but you pre-teens seem destined to shed 90% or more of their privacy. And how will this look. The below article does a great job of describing it.

Duality of the Social Class
What is the duality of the Social Class? The elimination of the Social Class?
Will there ever be an elimination of social class? Well for now it doesn’t seem likely so I think we have to go with Singularity Class.
Well it’s not really an opposite since those with money will probably be the first to use biotechnology or computer integration. Or maybe the technology will be made available to everyone after all the robots have taken over all our jobs.
If that happens, maybe the duality of the Social class will be the elimination of the Social class. Maybe we should hold off on immortality until everyone is a genius or fully integrated with technology.
Interesting article below: If the Social class remains, we may have a class for the rich and the poor but also a sub class for the enhanced, partially enhanced and unenhanced.

Duality of taxes
Does it ever feel like the duality of taxes may be insurance premiums. Or are they exactly the same but different. I think they are exactly the same but different but it was still interesting to analyze the topic
It could be said that both are necessary evils.
Both claim to protect you, but both are complained about and unwanted.
Both are expensive.
Paying taxes is required by law but only certain types of insurance are required by law.
Not paying taxes is more detrimental than not paying insurance premiums. Well that could depends on how much you love your stuff.
The people who uses more government services usually pay fewer taxes.
The people who make more claims to the insurance company usually pays more premiums.
When government services increase we all pay more taxes and when disasters increase well we all pay more premiums.

Duality in Controversial Technology
So what were people’s opinions of the first car ever built? Were some families hesitant to incorporate one into their household? What about the first personal computer. Computers have been around for quite a while but still not in every home. It seems that up until the last 5 years or so technology may have been avoided by some but now it seems that some people actually fear it. Cloning seems to be one such technology and of course stem cell research.
So what is the duality perspective to fear in technology? Absence of fear in technology? Or better yet just disregard the fear itself and pretend the fear never existed. This can easily be done by introducing feared technologies to your children or your pets.
After watching the video you tell me whether the dog owner would hesitate to have the same thing done to their own joints? Or maybe even re-grow some muscle tissue or maybe incorporate some animal tissue that makes you stronger.
And then all of a sudden you have immortality and didn't even know you were afraid of it.
If I could download my pets memories (see 3/7/2010 post) would I be more apt to clone him. Dont be surprised if this becomes a no brainer one day.

Dualtiy in solving the problem II
On 3/5 I posted a link to an article on condoms for 12 year olds in Switzerland. Here is yet another proposed solution for solving teenage pregnancy. Or child pregnancy in this case.
The article and video from MSM posted below does not specifically tell you the topic of the sex talk at the school but several searches said it was on how to avoid getting pregnant by engaging in oral sex.
I suppose if the 12 year old boys can’t afford to by condoms from Switzerland then this could be a possible fallback.
And, I guess girls are more mature at ten, then boys at 12 so that fits with getting to them early, but come on. Is the lack of problem solving in America really this bad?
Or is there something else? If you understand duality you know that the best way to tell a lie is to tell the truth. Is the truth here that they don’t want the kids to have sex? Meaning the opposite? Or is this a way to cash in?

Enhanced Consciousness with immortality?
Whether the government allows us to obtain immortality in the future or not the following device would be quite helpful. And yes it will be searchable.
After all what good is immortality without quality. Maybe we could even erase those negative memories. Wait a minute, this post is about remembering everything which would give us a stronger sense of consciousness and improve our ability to become thinkers. It's not about changing our pasts so that we can remember only the good things. Of course there is that one moment that maybe I could duplicate and change the dates so that I would remember the experience as if I did it weekly. Memories would have to be backed up as well so what if someone hacked my memories. I'm not sure if I want this or not now.

Duality of an Animal

The video doesn't really say why they want spider fibers, but scientists believe the fibers could be more durable than Kevlar, more flexible than nylon, and stronger than steel.
So what trait do you wnat first? Maybe vision better than 20 / 20? Wait last I heard that was already being tested for approval. Its called High definition vision.

Duality of Responsibilities
Came across an interesting video below and decided to talk about something that has made me curious for over a year now.
Where I live we always used to be able to go 12 miles over the speed limit on most streets and highways. I think this was due to the fact that for so long everyone averaged 10 - 11 mph over the speed limit and speed traps were nonexistent proven by all the people that passed you at considerable speed. As the recession hit and jobs became scarcer I noticed speed traps increasing and 7 miles over would now get you pulled over.
Now I am not complaining but I was curious about a few things?
Question 1: Did the cities hire more personnel so that the traps could be increased? I think this is ok, although aren't we told that tax revenues are dropping. So doesn’t this mean more taxes are needed to pay for the extra personnel?
If the driver is such a terrible law breaker why don’t we put up more traffic cameras that snap pictures when lights are run and why can’t our GPS systems automatically report our speeding and send us tickets in the mail? And if we are going to do this lets please ticket those who are impeding. Seems to me this could be cheaper in the long run for all of us.
How you ask? Well with more police unemployed we would pay fewer taxes. If we all knew that any infraction would result in a ticket we would get fewer tickets. Insurance companies could lay off employees that monitor traffic offenses and rate increases and pass those profits to the executives. However, with fewer tickets our insurance would not go up. Granted it would not go down but at least it would not go up.
Question 2: If the cities did not hire more personnel what were the police doing prior to setting up more speed traps? Realize these are just questions; I have not researched any of this. I am just curious how dualities in responsibilities are affected. If there are more traps what service might have been cut back on?
However I could be completely wrong. Maybe speeding causes more accidents and keeps body shops and car dealers from laying off workers. (On a side note why did the auto industry change the best oil change practice from 15k miles to 3K miles? Was it due to the fact that the increased quality in our vehicles was hurting the auto service industry to make money. Sorry I got side tracked). Maybe traffic tickets keep insurance employees in their jobs. Maybe we could hire city employees at a lower salary that just do traffic traps and keep all the police we currently have for their more important duties.

Immortality of the Leader
As you know I am all for immortality one way or the other whether its here or earth, in heaven or maybe on some distant planet. What I love about this next article is how important cloning is for the nations of the world.

So where is the duality discussion here: I think I will talk about duality in over population and post a very esoteric piece on the dualtiy of depopulation. Watch the double negative there.
I know the defintion of esoteric is: "confined to and understandable by only an enlightened inner circle" but I think poems are like that as well. I was never very good at interpreting poems but I used to like to write them.
Here is my attempt
We can not get to a resource based economy (socialism) until we get rid of those who want socialism, until we get rid of those who want the handout, until we get rid of those who fight for non evolution, until we get rid of those who fear change, until we get rid of those who refuse to think or, most importantly we get rid of those who don't know what socialism is and have not grasped the dualtiy of the definition, those who believe there could never even be, a new or good definition of socialism. Its not depopulation as a goal I think, but a campaign and a plea to evolve and think.

Duality of Sex II
In a follow-up to my first post on the duality of sex I mentioned chemicals in affecting sex. Here is a new article I came across. I expect readers are already aware of other things that may feminize boys and vice versa but this one was new to me.
My duality discussion is short on this one. What is the duality of the title? - Depopulation of the amphibians? Sex reversed frogs? Needs something better I think. I guess my duality is stuck today.
My favorite part of this article quoted here is:
"Whether the effects translate to humans is far from clear. Frogs have thin skin that can absorb chemicals easily and they literally bathe in the polluted water"
Yes it is said we humans have thick skin (pun intended). And I laughed as I thought about how I have to yell at my grandson for that 40+ minute shower. Oh and he used to live in the pool during summers. LOL
I don’t even know if this chemical is in our water. I guess if he is only feminized a little we won’t notice until his grandchildrens grandchildren.

Duality of Sex
So what is the Duality nature of Male? Female? Seems pretty straight forward right?
Well another possible duality of Male could be a Gay Male, and duality of Female could be a lesbian. But are people really homosexual or are they just misguided individuals? Are people homosexual at birth? Or do they become homosexual throughout their early childhood or adolescence?
Or is there one more duality to consider that I heard about for the first time a few months ago called Intersex. In order to discuss the duality of Sex from this perspective, I think it is important however to bring in an important belief system about the nature of homosexuality.
Christians are taught to be tolerant of homosexuality inerestinly however, most young males actually become homophobic whether religious or not. An additional Christian perspective on this comes from the bible and is quoted: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination" (Leviticus 18:22). "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:13). In these passages homosexuality is condemned as a prime example of sin, a sexual perversion. The Christian can neither alter God's viewpoint nor depart from it.

The older term for this condition, hermaphroditism, came from joining the names of a Greek god and goddess, Hermes and Aphrodite. Hermes was a god of male sexuality (among other things) and Aphrodite a goddess of female sexuality, love, and beauty.
Some Symptoms
The symptoms associated with intersex will depend on the underlying cause, but may include:
• Ambiguous genitalia at birth
• Micropenis
• Clitoromegaly (an enlarged clitoris)

• Apparently undescended testes (which may turn out to be ovaries)

The first most interesting thing from the documentary was that intersex is said to be as common as being a redhead. The second most interesting thing about the documentary I watched is that until recently most parents were not usually even told about this and doctors made a decision based on a few things to decide the sex of the child and perform a procedure to focus on the more dominant sexual features. Lately it is believed that parents are more regularly consulted on this and it is the parent’s choice to determine what sex the child should be. But even with the consultation the parents are encouraged to raise the child without the child’s knowledge of being born intersex.
So at this point duality brings me to a few points to ponder:
Could 1% or more of all homosexuals been born intersex?
Ok this maybe possible, but then why of that 1% or more wouldn’t even some of them blame their homosexuality on being intersex?
Did their parents know their little girl was intersex. Did that parent want so much to have that little girl in a family of 3 boys? Would the parent accepts this girl’s homosexuality with open loving arms and keep quiet to the intersex operation? Who would this harm as long as their loved one is now happy and dealing with, and in a loving relationship of their own?
How many people are bi-sexual or even bi-curious? I did a search and did not spend too much time on this but I found some say there is no statistics on percent of population who are bi-sexual and found one site say the percent was 1.8%.
Why haven’t this 1.8% blamed their bi-sexuality on intersex? I have other points to eventually bring up and ponder upon, such as the effects of certain chemical that may be feminizing our boys and vice versa. What happens when these boys or girls have kids?
Even more important although some may disagree, is, what if this knowledge of intersex was more mainstream. The biggest impact I see would be on the church.
Might it give someone the opportunity at the pearly gates to file a lawsuit about their doctor already in heaven that chose the wrong sex for them or even was persuaded to choose the wrong sex for them.
Just one more think that duality has thrown at us to make us think. Unless that is you choose the duality of not thinking for yourself and follow group think instead.

Intersex is a group of conditions where there is a discrepancy between the external genitals and the internal genitals (the testes and ovaries).
The older term for this condition, hermaphroditism, came from joining the names of a Greek god and goddess, Hermes and Aphrodite. Hermes was a god of male sexuality (among other things) and Aphrodite a goddess of female sexuality, love, and beauty.
Some Symptoms
The symptoms associated with intersex will depend on the underlying cause, but may include:
• Ambiguous genitalia at birth
• Micropenis
• Clitoromegaly (an enlarged clitoris)
• Partial labial fusion
• Apparently undescended testes (which may turn out to be ovaries)
in boys
• Labial or inguinal (groin) masses -- which may turn out to be
testes -- in girls
• Hypospadias (the opening of the penis is somewhere other than at
the tip; in females, the urethra [urine canal] opens into the
vagina)
• Otherwise unusual appearing genitalia at birth
• Electrolyte abnormalities
• Delayed or absent puberty
• Unexpected changes at puberty
The first most interesting thing from the documentary was that intersex is said to be as common as being a redhead. The second most interesting thing about the documentary I watched is that until recently most parents were not usually even told about this and doctors made a decision based on a few things to decide the sex of the child and perform a procedure to focus on the more dominant sexual features. Lately it is believed that parents are more regularly consulted on this and it is the parent’s choice to determine what sex the child should be. But even with the consultation the parents are encouraged to raise the child without the child’s knowledge of being born intersex.
So at this point duality brings me to a few points to ponder:
Could 1% or more of all homosexuals been born intersex?
Ok this maybe possible, but then why of that 1% or more wouldn’t even some of them blame their homosexuality on being intersex?
Did their parents know their little girl was intersex. Did that parent want so much to have that little girl in a family of 3 boys? Would the parent accepts this girl’s homosexuality with open loving arms and keep quiet to the intersex operation? Who would this harm as long as their loved one is now happy and dealing with, and in a loving relationship of their own?
How many people are bi-sexual or even bi-curious? I did a search and did not spend too much time on this but I found some say there is no statistics on percent of population who are bi-sexual and found one site say the percent was 1.8%.
Why haven’t this 1.8% blamed their bi-sexuality on intersex? I have other points to eventually bring up and ponder upon, such as the effects of certain chemical that may be feminizing our boys and vice versa. What happens when these boys or girls have kids?
Even more important although some may disagree, is, what if this knowledge of intersex was more mainstream. The biggest impact I see would be on the church.
Might it give someone the opportunity at the pearly gates to file a lawsuit about their doctor already in heaven that chose the wrong sex for them or even was persuaded to choose the wrong sex for them.
Just one more think that duality has thrown at us to make us think. Unless that is you choose the duality of not thinking for yourself and follow group think instead.
And finally maybe intersex doesn't even exist at all.

Duality of suicide
I found some of my old writings and decided I would like all my writng to be consolidated so I am re-typing it here. Some of this I should re-write but then it would not reflect what I thought about 20+ years ago. since I write with such a duality perspective let me assure you this was a positive piece for me. I was not suicidal and even thought long and hard about the title.
What would I give to know I've asked, to understand and experience that but one knows? I'd give up everything I owned, to know, but I asked, what do I really own?
I'd give all my worldly possessions, and knew it couldn’t be enough. I'd give every possible thing of myself, but didn't know what, that even was.
I wondered though if I’d give up everything, like the one think I cherish dearly. I could forfeit everything I said, but at what an unbelievable price.
I thought and I pondered this incredible price, then realized I’d never pay. For the one thing I’d have to give up, was everything I wanted to know.
I’d give everything up though, one day, and I’d learn what I wanted to know. Yet I hoped that day would never come. For what I held most dearest to me was my life itself.
